- The following documents are required from the vehicle owner: Macau Special Administrative Region Resident Identity Card and Hong Kong and Macau Residents' Travel Permit to the Mainland.
- Vehicle documentation required: - Certificate of Ownership and Registration Book for the Macao motor vehicle; - Compulsory Motor Vehicle Traffic Accident Liability Insurance Certificate compliant with national regulations, with a validity period not less than the duration of temporary entry into the Mainland; - For Macao motor vehicles registered for over six years, a valid Motor Vehicle Safety Technical Inspection Certificate must also be submitted.
- Driver documentation required: Macau Special Administrative Region Resident Identity Card; Hong Kong and Macau Residents' Travel Permit to the Mainland, or foreign passport with valid visa (or residence permit, permanent residence identity card), or other international travel documents with valid visa (or residence permit, permanent residence identity card), and other valid entry-exit documents; Mainland motor vehicle driving licence.
