Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Port

Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge Port

The Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge (“HZMB”) Boundary Crossing Facilities (“BCF”) is a mega cross-boundary transportation hub connecting Hong Kong, Zhuhai and Macao, and is located on an artificial island on the south side of Gongbei Bay in Zhuhai. The Boundary Crossing Facility, which opened simultaneously with the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge (HZMB) on October 24, 2018, is the world's first Boundary Crossing Facility that adopts the innovative "Triple Inspection in Three Places" mode of customs clearance, whereby the governments of the three places carry out inspections of cross-boundary travelers in the Hong Kong, Zhuhai and Macao Boundary Crossing Facilities respectively. In particular, travelers between Zhuhai and Macao can enjoy the convenience of "cooperative inspection and clearance in one go", whereby they only need to queue up once to complete the clearance procedures at the border between the two places. With an average daily capacity of about 150,000 passengers and 15,000 vehicles, the Zhuhai-Macao Boundary Crossing Facility is an important physical carrier and landmark project for the integrated development of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area.
