Man Kam To Port

Wenjindu Port is located in Huangbei Street, Luohu District, Shenzhen City, Guangdong Province, adjacent to Liantang Port in the east, Luohu Port in the west, South Yanhe Road in the north and Shenzhen River in the south, and is also the terminus of the G107 National Highway.In 1978, the Wenjindu Port was opened to the outside world with the approval of the State Council and was one of the only two land ports in Shenzhen before the reform and opening up of the city, which is connected to Hong Kong by a highway bridge and is a comprehensive highway port for the transportation of passengers and goods with a special feature of supplying Hong Kong with fresh and live products for border crossing. It is one of the only two land boundary control points in Shenzhen before the opening of the reform. In May 2011, the passenger clearance site was renovated and constructed, and on 26 August 2013, the passenger clearance resumed operation. There are a total of 30 vehicle inspection lanes for both inbound and outbound traffic. There are 18 lanes for goods vehicles (8 inbound and 10 outbound). There are 12 lanes for small cars and buses (6 inbound and 6 outbound). There are 18 passenger inspection lanes (8 manual and 10 self-service) and 18 immigration lanes (8 manual and 10 self-service). The Man Kam To Boundary Control Point is a “two places, two inspections” control point with a design capacity of 10,000 vehicles/day and 30,000 passengers/day. At present, the average daily number of vehicles passing through the control point is over 2,000, and the average daily number of passengers passing through the control point is over 4,000.
