Hong Kong (Macau) Private Motor Vehicles
Written application for a business name
- Notification of Approval for Motor Vehicles Travelling to and from Guangdong, Hong Kong and Macao and Drivers' Permission to Drive (Mainland Contractor's Affiliation)
- For a Hong Kong company, the Chinese version of the Business Registration Certificate of the Business Registration Office of the Government of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region shall be submitted, and for a Hong Kong limited company, the Certificate of Incorporation of the Companies Registry of Hong Kong shall also be provided; for a Macau company, the Chinese version of the Certificate of the Business and Movable Property Registration Office of the Government of the Macau Special Administrative Region shall be submitted; for a foreign company, the certificate of registration of the company in the foreign country shall be submitted. For a foreign company, submit the company's certificate of incorporation in a foreign country with a Chinese translation translated by the notary public office of the province; for an individual, submit the individual's identity document, Hong Kong and Macao residents and submit the "Hong Kong and Macao Residents Entry and Exit Permit for Traveling to and from the Mainland" (Home Visit Permit), Taiwan residents submit the "Taiwan Residents Entry and Exit Permit for Traveling to and from Mainland China" (Taiwanese Certificate), and for foreign citizens, submit the "Passport" with a Chinese translation translated by the notary public office of the province.
- For new vehicles, the "Vehicle Registration Document" issued by the Transport Department of the Government of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region (HKSAR) or the "Certificate of Ownership / Motor Vehicle" issued by the Commercial and Movable Property Registration Bureau of the Government of the Macao Special Administrative Region (Macao SAR) must be provided, and the owner's name of the vehicle must be the same as that of the investor's business name. If the name of the owner of the vehicle does not match with the name of the investor, the owner of the vehicle shall submit the Annual Return of the Companies Registry of the Government of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region if it is a Hong Kong Limited Company; the owner of the vehicle shall submit the Application for Business Registration of Individuals Carrying on Business in Hong Kong of the Business Registration Department of the Government of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region if it is an unlimited company; the owner of the vehicle shall submit the Certificate of Business and Animal Product Registration Office of the Government of the Macau Special Administrative Region if it is a Macao company; and the owner of the vehicle shall apply for Hong Kong (Macao) Private Vehicle Registration. In case of a foreign company, the owner of the vehicle must submit a document certifying that he/she is a solicitor's firm and a Chinese translation of the document to apply for the Hong Kong (Macao) Private Car License for entering and leaving the Mainland; and the above information proves that the owner of the vehicle is affiliated with the investor merchant (sub-parent company, shareholder, or director).

- For private car index replacement from Macau to the Mainland, you are required to provide the Customs document of the old car's departure from the Mainland.

- The owner's registration name should be the same as the trade name on the new vehicle's People's Republic of China Motor Vehicle License.
- Four color photographs of the vehicle at an angle of 45 degrees to the left of the front, measuring 88mm x 60mm.
- Outbound commercial vehicles are provided with the Enterprise Legal Person Business License, and outbound public vehicles are provided with the Organization Code Certificate.
- Application for Approval of Entry and Exit of Motor Vehicles and Drivers from Hong Kong and Macao.
